Space bar to cycle through scenes.

The main camera's output is set to a render texture, and that texture is applied to a plane in the scene. The final output camera is fixed and looks at that plane, and outputs to the display. That same render texture can also be applied to other objects in the game world, and when the main camera points at those objects, you get visual feedback.
